Lianna had left behind her career as a Travel Agent and Nick left his job as a Paramedic in Northern Ontario to backpack the greater part of the Asian continent before moving onto the next stage in life.
Before even returning home from our Asian adventure we felt our wanderlust had not been suppressed in the least and, we set about looking for another corner of the globe to explore.
It was only two weeks after Nick returned home that we had our ticket to Italy and a rough idea to travel east through the Balkan Countries to Turkey – an itinerary that, like all our others, ended up changing significantly.
