Lianna had left behind her career as a Travel Agent and Nick left his job as a Paramedic in Northern Ontario to backpack the greater part of the Asian continent before moving into the next stage in life.

Before even returning home from our Asian adventure we felt our wanderlust had not been suppressed in the least and we set about looking for another far off corner of the globe to explore.

It was only two weeks after Nick returned home and we had our ticket to Italy and a rough idea to travel east through the Balkan Countries to Turkey and the Middle East.

This blog was created so everyone could join us and experience the good, the bad and the incredible experiences of backpacking Asia/Europe and the Middle East with grumbling in the tummy.
