Nick got published!

by Lianna
Well sort of…
Schmap, an online destination guide, used Nick’s photo of Dublin Mountains – Sally Gap for their guide.  They went on his Flickr account and asked him if he would allow them to use it. I think it’s pretty damn cool but Nick didn’t want to bring attention to it on the blog so I’m posting this behind his back!

We went off with Uncle Tom being our tour guide and saw some truly beautiful landscapes. We left Bray to drive over the Wicklow Mountains stopping at Glendlough,Sally’s Gap, Powerscourt waterfall, and stopping for an amazing lunch in a small town. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.

When It Rains, It Pours!

Lianna and I were set to board our flight to Ireland on Air Transat and after a year or so of planning we were ready to jump right into our 8 months of travel. Unfortunately, our trip would be delayed 2 hours as Air Transat was ridiculously late. But if this was our only frustration, it would be fine. I was wrong. To follow was the most uncomfortable noisy and intolerable flight I have ever experienced.

Towards the end of the flight Lianna began to feel nauseated and had to make …
