While Nick was stressing out about his bag, we had a day experiencing the Ireland Nick would know from the movies. We went off with Uncle Tom being our tour guide and saw some truly beautiful landscapes. We left Bray to drive over the Wicklow Mountains stopping at Glendlough,Sally’s Gap, Powerscourt waterfall, and stopping for an amazing lunch in a small town. Lianna and I were set to board our flight to Ireland on Air Transat and after a year or so of planning we were ready to jump right into our 8 months of travel. Unfortunately, our trip would be delayed 2 hours as Air Transat was ridiculously late. But if this was our only frustration, it would be fine. I was wrong. Leaving out a few luxury items I’m bringing to Ireland and will send home before reaching Asia (such as a hair dryer!) here is my list that I packed into my 60 litre Gregory Jade backpack.
