Auroras Borealis – Photo Essay

As summer zips by us, the days in the north country become shorter and shorter. We have already begun to see the shift in daylight which bring with it a chance to glimpse one of the most beautiful light shows on earth, the Auroa Borealis.

These are photos I took last night while being eaten alive by mosquitos, I think it was worth it!

    Beautiful photo’s, I was up in Algonquin Park Ontario on 1 August 2010 and saw some lovely blue green lights. Feint but they sky is amazing up there anyway, worth a few (more) mozzie bites!

    Thanks Sarah. Algonquin sure is beautiful too….you got very lucky to see that that far south. I’m sure its something you wont soon forget.
